Quaine pitya-naukoron
There was a number song at the end of Omentielva Cantea, but it was just all the numbers in order, which is kind of boring. Try instead singing the following text to this melody:
Mine, atta, nelde naukoron,
Kanta, lempe, enque nornoron,
Otso, tolto, nerte nuxoron,
Pitya-naukoron quain.
Quaine, nerte, tolto nuxoron,
Otso, enque, lempe nornoron,
Kanta, nelde, atta naukoron,
Naukaliello min.
For the advanced, there is also a Sindarin version:
Min naug, tâd noeg, neledh nibin-noeg,
Canad, leben, eneg nœgyth vîw,
Odog, toloth, neder neweglîn,
Pae o nœgœthig bîn.
Pae noeg, neder, toloth neweglîn,
Odog, eneg, leben nœgyth vîw,
Canad, neledh, tâd noeg, nibin-noeg,
Nogotheg erui bîn.

Aran:
Re-reading 'The Hobbit' and especially the part where the dwarves are presented to Beorn, I've realized that one could (or should) count to thirteen and it will just add one line. So here goes the Hobbit version:
Mine, atta, nelde naukoron,
Kanta, lempe, enque nornoron,
Otso, tolto, nerte nuxoron,
Quaine, minque, yunque fangaron,
Nelque yunquenta ná.
Nelque, yunque, minque fangaron,
Quaine, nerte, tolto nuxoron,
Otso, enque, lempe nornoron,
Kanta, nelde, atta naukoron,
Naukaliello min.
This way it could actually help you memorize that yunquenta (twelve + enta 'one more') and *nelque < nelekwe are the same. Alternatively: Bombur yunquenta ná.

You have made a real earworm with this one, can't get rid of it. You should propose this to Tuilinde, she is looking for family-friendly things to do for an Elvish program during "The Return of the Ring" next year.

This is too good and I managed to sing it :) Maybe you should propose this as an official Omentielva song - unless we get complaints from Dwarves.
