Books

As haikus have become a favourite forms of poetic expression on this board, this wiki has been started to collect all of them in one place. Enjoy and contribute.

Following the footsteps of the "Proverbs" wiki, why not come up with some idioms (hereafter: idio-what's-its -- cheers, Bob!) from Middle-earth? To be more specific, this will be the place for "speech forms or expressions of a given language [in our case all languages of Middle-earth] that are peculiar to themselves grammatically or cannot be understood from the individual meanings of their elements, as in keep tabs on" (definition). Here are some Quenya, Sindarin and English (should've been in part Old English, alas!) idio-what's-its for starters, composed jointly with Atwe over a few pints of cask ale at the Milton Arms. Enjoy the thread as much as I do :) -- Ninniach

This is a project initiated by Aglardh members to create a repository of various translations of portions of the Holy Bible to NeoQuenya. Texts will either be directly posted here with the consent of their translator (due credit given) or links will be provided. This wiki is a group effort. Every registered member is invited to contribute, comment, correct.

If you post in this wiki I recommend looking at the wiki formatting tips first.
