Narn e-Nîn

Here is a little something I composed recently, modified per comments I've seen so far:

Narn e-Nîn
Tale of a Tear

Ú-'erin cened
na chend Edhellen;
i glaur i-Melain
thurin na chîth dûg.

I cannot see
with Elvish eyes;
the splendour of the Gods
is hidden by thick mists.

Ú-'erin cened
or rais in-eryd:
in gwaith ef-fuin vorn
cenin mi galad.

I cannot see
over the mountain-tops:
the shadows of the black night
I see in the light.

Aníron cened,
aníron cened...
Nîn e-cheledh
danna na thîr nín.

I wish to see,
I wish to see...
A tear of glass
falls to my face.

Can I write thîren for thîr nín, cf. gûren?
Anything amiss?

Just a quick comment before bedtime:-) I do not think gerunds get lenited when in object position. Cf. _e aníra suilannad_

In plural, the plural form of the article is used in a genitival construction, thus:
 
the splendour of the Gods
i 'laur i-Melain
(additionally gl is lenited to 'l)
 
over the mountain-tops
or rais in-eryd
 
Of course, we have counter-examples as well, e.g. Haudh-en-Ndengin.

Ooh, yes I forgot. It's been awhile since I've written anything in Sindarin:) I'll fix that.

A quick remark if I may, mellon Cerebrum: "splendour" in Sindarin is claur, therefore i glaur is perfectly correct :)
