New Project: QNP

I am starting a little side project, which I expect to be a slow-burner, but fun. I call it Quenderinwa Ñóleparma Laimaron Yo Kelvaron, and it is a wiki intended to gather attested and neologism Quenya and Sindarin names of plants and animals.

I know that names of animals and plants can also be found in Eldamo and other online dictionaries, but this could have the added benefit of e.g. adding photos/illustrations, potentially adding the description of species in Quenya or Sindarin (one can dream), using the wiki discussion pages to suggest/debate/peer-review neologisms, etc.

It is quite empty at the moment, because I have not yet decided what the layout should look like (and would like to ask for opinions). We could treat it as a Quenya/Sindarin wiktionary, i.e. entries would be added under their Q or S names (and have separate Q and S sections), or the entries could be added with their English names, with each page providing the Quenya and Sindarin translations (if available) of the species.

Let's see what will come out of this - if it takes off, all the best, if in time it dies a quiet death, no harm done:)
