I found this poetry form a few days ago by chance and a pencil drawing I made was the pretexte to try it out in French and Quenya. The forme started its career in 2006 apparently from this blog :

One can count either syllables, metric feet or words.

and here my French original :

Le baiser du papillon

Longtemps sur l'éveil
Et les causes de son émoi -
Caresses de Zéphyr ou baisers de papillon?

Aran:

Interesting idea, but since Quenya words are normally longer, one might try to start later in the series when counting syllables, making it 2-3-5-8-13-21.

oreramar:

The forms wants you to start counting at 0.
0 + 1 = 1 + 1 = 2 + 1 = 3 + 2 = 5 etc. That's why I counted words in Quenya. The French version has a syllable count, because there it is easy, mute "e" at the end of a line is a feminine ending not counted. That gives plenty of one syllable words.

But in Quenya, instead of words, we could count the accented syllables. The inconvenience is that from 5 onward the lines may get a bit long.
